The premise for this character is that it lures in the main character, then reveals it's true nature.

For that, I thought multiple forms would be needed. The unassuming first form, with an not yet warped face, displaying somewhat of a vulnerable emotion, ideal for luring it's victims. Then what follows is her true form, with the multiple limbs, hidden mouth, much scarier than before. Followed by a much more stretched out body, from chasing after the victim through the caves and eventually a little form, after it's lost it's body from being snagged by rocks and stretched out too far.
